Welcome to the home of Canterbury Youth Football Club formerly Sturry Blues Junior Football Club and Canterbury City Youth Football Club.

We are an FA Charter Standard Club and have been running for 28 years and are pleased to offer boys and girls from Canterbury and the surrounding area the chance to play football in a safe environment. We currently run 12 teams from Under 7 through to Under 16 in the Parkersteel East Kent Youth League. Our club use the best training facilities in the area at the University of Kent at Canterbury and also excellent quality pitches for matches.

Our club coaches are FA qualified most level one, several level two and our Club Head Coach is Level three UEFA B qualified. All of our managers and coaches are CRB checked.

We also run a licensed Mini Soccer centre on a Friday night at Polo Farm in Canterbury from 6pm to 7pm and this is open to 6 to 10 year old boys and girls of all abilities. For further information on the Mini Soccer Centre please contact Mim Barrett via mimnricharemad@barrett4.co.uk 

This club has one of the best youth policy's in Kent. Canterbury Youth / Sturry Blues have constantly developed and produced young players over many years, some of our players are still currently with professional clubs, Chelsea, Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace and Gillingham. The club has produced two England schoolboys Jamie Thornby and Steve Aslett.

The club is also very aware of our social responsibility as can be seen in our fund raising for Children in Need and the work with the Kisumu orphanages in Kenya (see news items for full report).
